和訳 考察 ラナ・デル・レイ Fine China

「Fine China」はラナ・デル・レイの未発表曲です。2013年３枚目のアルバム「ウルトラヴァイオレンス」収録時に録音されましたが、最終的にカットされてしまいました。和訳の後にこの曲の考察を書いています♪

解説、考察

Fine China...元気な中国ってなんやねん、と思いましたが磁器の生産地が中国であることから磁器や食器類のことをchinaと呼ぶそうです。fineには立派な、美しいといった意味があります。

My white horses and my ivory almonds…急な白い馬とアイボリーアーモンド???
白馬＝ヒロイン、象牙のアーモンド形の飾り＝麻薬のメタファーだという考察がyoutubeのコメント上にありました。

blue...花嫁が幸せを願って身に着けるサムシングフォーの一つ、サムシングブルー(青いもの)を指していると思われます。

サビの歌詞から読み取れるように、この曲のテーマは結婚式のようです。おそらくヒロインは（いつものLanaの曲の通り）麻薬中毒であり、恋人に去られた不幸な女性なのでしょう。I'm going down....の歌詞ですが、麻薬によって酩酊状態に入っているヒロインが目に浮かびます。実現しなかった結婚式を夢見ているのでしょうか。
